Please note that due to the highly sealed nature of the TPE technology employed in the probe, humidity may significantly impact its performance, rendering it unreliable.

We've discovered a new sleek probe—white, compact, and integrated. Testing shows excellent performance. Come join us in exploring this exciting new gadget.

Some features we've identified:

• Customizable with open-source firmware from pvvx, supporting high-rate transmission (10-second BTHome, 30-second Zigbee). This allows sacrificing some battery performance for higher refresh rates.
• Powered by a CR2450 battery. Its larger size theoretically enables over 2 years of battery life, though real-world usage should easily exceed 1 year depending on conditions. Compared to CR2320, it offers significantly longer battery endurance.
• 1-meter probe length is ideal for placement in freshwater aquariums or other liquids. While suitable for freshwater environments, prolonged use in corrosive liquids like seawater is not recommended.
• SHT40 sensor provides sensitive temperature and humidity detection, making it suitable for placement inside refrigerators. While we haven't conducted detailed testing, we encourage users to explore this possibility.
• Large display enables convenient standalone operation for real-time data acquisition.
• Side button allows long press to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature display. This button could be repurposed for interactive functions in future updates if needed.

Additional Notes:

• BTHome firmware (based on pvvx et al.'s ATC_MiThermometer) transmits data via BLE broadcast. Use it close to Home Assistant with its built-in Bluetooth adapter, or extend range with a BLE proxy (like our BP1 or BLEDongle-1M). It lacks Zigbee's mesh capabilities but offers lighter weight and lower power consumption. This firmware also offers an advanced BLE transmission configuration mode, enabling precise customization of the entire screen's behavior.
• Zigbee firmware (based on pvvx's zigbeeTLC) proved highly stable in our testing. Popular among enthusiasts, it transmits data and offers numerous settings like transmission intervals. Pressing the side button for approximately 10 seconds allows for network reconfiguration.
