If you're interested in CO, join us on this new adventure.
After over a week of continuous testing, the sensors appear stable—though CO leaks seem remarkably hard to trigger :).
As a DIY sensor, we can't guarantee commercial-grade performance—we just find it fascinating.
The sensor itself has passed rigorous UL certification. It uses the FC-CO-5000 sensor module from PRO SENSE, with a rated lifespan of five years, a measurement range of 0-1000ppm, and a maximum overload of 5000ppm.
We'll share more detailed sensor information when we get the chance.
If you need to simulate CO conditions, we found the simplest method is to burn a tissue and then extinguish it—the foul-smelling black smoke contains high levels of CO.
Have Fun! Enjoy exploring!
