Everywhere I checked it said "instant","very fast"!
In reality it sees someone but it does not trigger "static" unless that someone moves. After moving it holds static state, but it for instance where the sensor is on the left side up in the corner, and the bathroom door is open (so no clear visibility because of the door), it sees the target, it shows the target but it does not trigger any state unless there is clear visibility to target and it moves.
Hoped it can be fixed by firmware update, but seems like not.
For the record switched from 5Ghz Chinese noname stuff, and it worked like a charm, hoped it will be an update, it is not. (5ghz presence sensor is zigbee variant and a bit slow time to time, bought another presence sensor from different vendor on aliexpress, works perfectly)
The issue is being tracked here: https://www.reddit.com/r/screekworkshop/comments/1nfzxct/screek_1m_slow_trigger/
As standard LD2410C sensors, these may represent the current state of 24G mmWave sensors—a cost-effective solution requiring reliable target confirmation before triggering. Static values should persist after dynamic changes.
Related aspects warrant further investigation, and we'll have opportunities to test how those 5GHz millimeter-wave sensors perform.
Thank you for joining the exploration—apologies that not every exploration may be perfect.
We'll continue uncovering interesting discoveries with various millimeter-wave sensors.
